Son of Alexander Mylne and Anna Vegilman, husband of Elizabeth Meikle married 28 Dec 1653 or 1661 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Nephew of and apprentice of his childless uncle, John Mylne. Robert married Elizabeth Meikle in 1661.
