The Fourteen Incorporated Trades of Edinburgh
Click through to read some brief notes on each of the fourteen principal incorporations (plus the Candlemakers) which have belonged to the Convenery of the Trades of Edinburgh since its inception in about 1562. The work of adding to these descriptive articles is an ongoing task and the different sections will be built up gradually as time permits. At present some of them are still only “stubs” or markers for future development.
