IMMEDIATELY to the eastward of the Kirkgate, and opening off it, lie three ancient thoroughfares—Giles’s Street; St. Andrew’s Street, or Les Deux Bras, as it was named by the garrison of Marechal Strozzi; and the Tolbooth Wynd.
