Monuments are on the move

SOME of the Capital’s most famous monuments and statues face being taken down and put into storage for up to two years as part of the trams roadworks.

Statues of George IV, and William Pitt, which stand in the middle of roundabouts in George Street, and Eduardo Paolozzi’s “Big Foot” sculpture at the top of Leith Walk are among those which could soon disappear. for more click here
