Customs House in lead for museum

A LANDMARK building on the Shore has emerged as a front-runner to house a proposed new Museum of Leith.

The Customs House building on Commercial Street is owned by the National Museums of Scotland (NMS), which uses it for storage. However, it is set to be surplus to requirements in the long-term because of plans for a new facility to house artefacts in Granton. for more click here
