The death certificate of George Bryce hanged 1864

George Bryce was hanged in Edinburgh in 1864 for the murder of Jane Seton. His Uncle James Seton was aso hanged in 1844 for the muder of his brother-in-law. It wasn’t noted that it took several minutes for George Bryce to die and in fact he died from slow strangulation.
