LOANHEAD archaeologists have been uncovering Edinburgh’s industrial past.
team from the AOC Archaeology Group, based at Edgefield Industrial Estate, have been working on the largest current excavation of an industrial archaeological site in Europe to uncover the old Edinburgh gasworks.
The excavation and state-of-the-art laser scan is taking place in advance of Mountgrange’s Caltongate development on the site of the former bus depot in New Street. for more click here
