Treasures of the man who would be king go on display

RECLINING in a well-to-do Edinburgh house one Hogmanay, poet Robert Burns joins a group in a toast to another man who was to became an iconic Scots figure – Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Led by one James Steuart, the men are holding their annual meeting to mark the prince’s birthday, drinking from six specially commissioned glasses, carefully created by a top city craftsman, all bearing the image of the Young Pretender. for more click here
