The Execution of Mary,Queen of Scots 1587
Mary,Queen of Scots was executed at Fotheringhay castle on the 8th February 1587. She had many conections to Leith including the granting of a Royal Charter to Trinity House. Her coat of Arms can been seen at South Leith Church along with her mothers Mary of Guise.
