Award puts river cleaners on the map
CONSERVATION volunteers who spent their spare time cleaning up the Water of Leith using a Global Positioning System have been rewarded for their efforts.
The river’s urban stretch between Balerno and Leith was given a clean by 28 community groups, with more than 500 people clocking up around 1200 hours of effort. for more click here
