A page from the Basilikon Doron

Zam-111.jpg
The Basilikon Doron was a book written by James VI on how a King should rule for the benefit of his son Prince Henry. However Prince Henry died before he was to become king and his younger brother Charles became King in 1625. Both the Coat of Arms of James VI and Charles I can be seen at South Leith
