Auchinleck Manuscript
The importance of the Auchinleck Manuscript (National Library of Scotland Advocates’ MS 19.2.1) has been acknowledged since at least 1804 when Sir Walter Scott brought the manuscript to notice by publishing an elaborate edition of Sir Tristrem with an introduction describing the manuscript. for more click here
