A Scottish Pilgrimage Scene from the 15th Century
Restalrig was a pilgrimage centre for St Triduana during the Middle ages and would have been very similar to the scene above which is based on the chapel of St Kentigern at Glasgow Cathedral. The Chapel to St Triduana still exists at St Margaret’s Church Restalrig.
