It has been noted, although infrequently by those glossing over the whole subject, that the majority of the Templars were never arrested following the black Friday 13th of 1307. Only around 1,500 of some 15,000 Templars in France were ever arrested – escapees included the Treasurer and the entire Templar fleet of some forty vessels sailing under the Templar Admiral’s official flag, the skull and crossed bones. for more click here
