The NGfL guide to Holocaust Memorial Day 2006

Before and during the Second World War, more than six million civilians were killed by the Nazis in Europe. An annual Holocaust Memorial Day, which takes place on 27 January, was established in 2001 to commemorate the victims and events of the Holocaust. Its aim is to ensure that people understand that the Holocaust is part of British history and that it offers important lessons for British citizens in the 21st century.for more click here
