MSPs back statue plan for war doctor who saved thousands
A STATUE in honour of a city doctor who saved the lives of thousands of wounded soldiers has won the backing of 60 MSPs.
The news comes as a major boost to campaigners who have been fighting for formal recognition of Elsie Inglis and her team of nurses who established field hospitals across Europe during the First World War. for more click here
