The Botanic Garden
Although there were a number of early physic gardens, including gardens at Holyrood and in the College Garden, Edinburgh’s main Botanic Garden was formally established in 1675 near Trinity College at the outflow from the North Loch (the site is now indicated by a commemorative plaque in the Waverley Station). for more click here
