The top drawing byJames Skene is of the Sheepheid Wynd Leith and below is Smeaton Close or Smiton Close by James Grant c1850

The top drawing is of a building in Quality Street Leith (now Maritime Street) as it was in 1900 by H.R.Westwood. The lower drawing is of the Cant Ordinary in 1877 (as desrcibed in text) by Thomas Ross
